Daily Life: Been Away for Too Long

Hiya guys~ I think I've neglected this blog for a long time. I haven't been able to update due to the loads that I have at school and here at home. I have a lot to share in this post though! But I'll keep it short since I have other things to do. :<

1. Robinsons Magnolia
Oh yeah, it's the new mall near our home. It is located somewhere near Balete Drive. First impression: spacious and inviting. Well, I hope it stays that way. I never liked crowded malls. Also they arrange the shops perfectly. All kid's items were on one side, all the beauty services on another.

2. Expendables 2
I watched the movie with my parents. It cost us PHP550 with a free bucket of popcorn at Robinsons Magnolia. I love the seats at the theater since it is reclines and supports the lower back. What I don't like was the sounds. I think the sound only came at the front side of the theater.
The movie was cool~ I never really liked pure action films but I liked this one since it was quite-- impossible to happen. Well some scenes were.

3. Yabu
I went back to Robinsons after a few days with my sister and my brother's girlfriend. We ate at the Japanese restaurant called Yabu. I ordered chicken tonkatsu set meal since I didn't feel like eating pork. We also ordered an ala carte of salmon cooked katsu style.
I was given a mortar and pestle with sesame seeds and I had to grind it and put the katsu sauce in. It occupied my time while waiting for the food and it was pretty interesting. When our meal had arrived, I thought yuuuuum! I immediately digged in and found the food delish!
The chicken was not greasy. The breadcrumbs were crispy. When dipped in the sauce, it enhances the flavor of the meat. There was also a serving of shredded cabbage. I drizzled mayo with sesame on top of it. I LOVE THE SAUCE. It was tangy like Japanese mayo and there was a subtle hint of sesame.

4. Saltimbanco
With my aunt, we watched Saltimbanco at SM Arena. Saltimbanco is a Cirque du Soleil show and it is longest touring show. I love the costumes -- colorful, avante garde and downright playful! I love the acts since it was varied. They did not only stick to stunts but they had music and dance too! They even had juggling -- awesome juggling.

5. Lilli at Hyatt
After, we ate at Lilli at Hyatt since dad had a voucher. We had two way duck and some side orders. The duck roll was a great way to start the meal. The duck skin was thin and crunchy. The sauce did not overpower the taste. One of the side orders was sweet sour pork. I love how crispy the breading was.

6. Phantom of the Opera
THIS IS AN AWESOME SHOW THAT EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH.
I love the stage, first of all. I love how intricate details were in constructing the chandelier, the labyrinth and all. I love the costumes. Colors were perfect. The orchestra played wonderfully. I loved Music of the Night. The actors' voices were also nice, especially Christine's. Too bad we couldn't take photos :(

So that's it for now~! I am in a hurry XD I'll be posting an OOTD next.

    1. hi maria!! :) it's nice to hear from you. Things have been very busy recently at uni. I have difficult subjects to take plus thesis. So as you can see, I have not updated again after a long time. >_< I'm sorry for the unreplied messages. Those were the busiest days of the term. I was editing two videos that time. I was in FB just to talk to my groupmates that time.

    1. 2012 is just a busy year I think. I'm not mad at you haha. Why would you think of that reason? There's no reason for me to be mad. The videos were great! I got a high but not perfect grade, but it's fine.

Let me know if you started with the new blog. Isn't it frustrating coming up with the name? @_@ I even want to change this blog's name, if possible.
