Here's part two!!!
Now, I'm doing a nail tutorial! I've been hesitating to make one since I don't have nice fingers. AT ALL. I've had atopic dermatitis for a very long time now and it aggravates my fingers only. Usually, I have wounds on my fingers and it can be really nasty to look at. Now, I have granny wrinkly fingers at 19 years old. TT_TT But setting that aside, I love nail art. I've made many designs before but I had to stop since my previous doctor said I might be allergic to the polish. But with my new doctor, she said it's okay as long as I have my meds. Yay!!!
I did this nail art twice now and people keep on asking me who did it, how was it done and so forth. So here, I'll teach you how to!!!
1. Start with clean nails!!! ^_^
My nails are clean, however, the past nail polish left stains :( But oh well, time to cover 'em up with more nail polish!
2. Apply base.
You may use a base coat first. But I immediately used a sheer pink polish. Apply it once or twice. This one is Etude House's Number 18. Let it dry.
3. You need two more colors. I used Daiso/Saizen's Delicia Number 2 and Caronia's Golden Sun. Both are frosted and sheer. I think sheer nail polishes achieve a better effect for ombre nails.
3. Stamping using an old makeup sponge.
Using an old makeup sponge (I used a thin square sponge so it's more flexible) apply the pink shade on the lower portion and the gold shade on the upper portion, as shown in the photo. Make the colors match your nail's size. Put your finger beside the polish and bend the sponge remove. You can double it up once it dries up. Layer with top coat when it's still a bit moist so that the colors blend in the middle part. And that's it!
4. Here's how mine ended up. ^^
